All-time high for felling 2006
According to the 2006 timber felling report 19.13 million cubic metres of timber harvested under bark were utilised in Austrian forests in the year 2006. This is an all-time high. Felling 2001
In 2001, the use of wood in the Austrian forest harvest 13.47 million meters without bark (million EFM). It is up 1.4% over the previous year (13.28 million EFM), increased by 3.2% below the five-year average (5-Ř; 1997-2001, 13.92 million EFM) and by 1.9% under the ten-year average (10-Ř; 1992-2001, 13.73 million EFM).
