The raw material wood

In Austria’s forests trees, by way of photosynthesis, produce high-quality cellulose in the form of wood. This biomass represents a valuable, domestic, renewable, and natural resource which is used in multiple ways; as a fuel, it is available at any time also in crisis situations and thus constitutes a valuable source of energy.
