Landscape Development
The development of our landscapes has always been characterised by a multitude of uses. Especially in the Alpine region, the prevention of natural hazards (avalanches, floods, mudslides) plays an important role. Important foundations for balancing the interests are provided in particular by regional planning. The Life Ministry supports these efforts through pilot projects and cooperation in research networks, among other things. Click here for information on the objectives and on-going support activities in this area.
